The Greek Court of Appeal has responded positively to the request of the Italian authorities for the extradition of the American Francis Kaufmann , arrested in Greece for the murder of his partner and daughter found dead in Villa Pamphili. The man can appeal against the decision
Meanwhile, the prosecutors of the Rome Public Prosecutor's Office investigating the double homicide at Villa Pamphili have entrusted the police with the task of acquiring documentation relating to the never-released film by Francis Kaufmann.
Investigators today went to the Directorate General of Cinema and Audiovisual of the Ministry to acquire the documents. A “ghost” film, never released, which nevertheless managed to obtain a contribution of 863 thousand euros from the ministry .
The public funds had been arranged with a decree of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage of November 27, 2020, at the time led by Dario Franceschini, during the Conte-bis government. It concerns the film “Stars of the Night” by the American director, Rexal Ford, linked to the Maltese company Tintagel Films Llc. Rexal Ford is precisely the false name used by Kaufmann during his stay in Rome.
