Mother and son found dead in the house, the dog watched over them

A 97-year-old woman and her 70-year-old son were found dead in their home in Bagno di Gavoranno, in the Grosseto area.

From the first surveys, no signs of violence on the bodies or break-ins on doors and windows emerged .

The neighbors said that for a couple of days they had heard the family dog barking very insistently and decided to notify the police.

The old woman and her son, originally from Florence, lived in an apartment in the center of the town. All investigations by the Carabinieri and the Grosseto Public Prosecutor's Office are underway.
