The employment rate of hospital wards for coronavirus cases increases in Italy: in intensive care it is 6.2 per cent (against 5.3 on November 18), in medical areas it rises to 8.1 per cent (surveys of the Ministry of Health as of November 25) against the previous 7.1%.

These are the data of the weekly monitoring by Iss-Ministry of Health.

New cases not associated with transmission chains are also growing strongly: 23,971 against 15,773 of the previous week. The percentage of cases detected through contact tracing activity is stable (34% like last week). The percentage of cases detected through the appearance of symptoms was also stable (always 45 percent), as was the percentage of cases diagnosed through screening activities (21 percent).

The weekly incidence at the national level continues to increase: 125 per 100 thousand inhabitants (19/11 / 2021-25 / 11/2021) against 98 per 100 thousand inhabitants last week (12/11 / 2021-18 / 11/2021).
