From today, the mayor of Santa Lucia di Piave, in the province of Treviso, has a new office for his institutional activity: an open-air gazebo set up next to the town hall.
The mayor Riccardo Szumski, a doctor with an agreement at the Ulss Marca 2 Treviso near the no vax, is not vaccinated and does not intend to undergo a swab every two days to enter the municipal office.
So, in order not to have the Green pass, he had an alternative office built.
Szumski is not new to out-of-the-box initiatives and for a year and a half he has been talking about "health dictatorship".
"I'm not a no vax - he explained - but I believe that vaccination must be a responsible choice".
"I have not vaccinated - he specified - but I do not tell my patients not to do it, let's compare together the pros and cons for each one. I do the vaccination to those who ask me. But as far as I am concerned, I want to be free to do it or not".
The doctor is being targeted by local health authorities for having signed a vaccine exemption to a Friulian teacher, despite not being a patient of his. For the case, a report was sent to the Medical Association.
