Five years ago he fell due to a balustrade that was too low in the court in Milan and was paralyzed after a seven meter fall. Now the Ministry of Justice will pay 1.5 million to Antonio Montinaro, a 32-year-old new lawyer.
The young man was leaning on the 57 centimeter high balustrade and 25 centimeter high handrail: while talking on his cell phone he lost his balance and fell into the stairwell of a landing in the Prosecutor's Office.
During the hearing in the civil case brought by Montinaro - reports the Corriere della Sera - the lawyers Gian Antonio Maggio and Salvatore D'Anca and the State Attorney's Office announced that they had reached an agreement which now awaits the approval of the Court of Auditors .
The request from Montinaro, who had not yet completed his registration with the Cassa Forense and therefore did not have welfare insurance coverage, was three million and has now returned to live with his parents in Martano, in the province of Lecce. The Brescia Prosecutor's Office was also informed of the agreement, which opened an investigation entrusted to prosecutor Kelly Bressanelli for negligent personal injury.
