During the night, 150 migrants arrived in Lampedusa, on two boats, taken to the hotspot where 354 guests are currently being welcomed.

Shortly after midnight, the G127 patrol boat of the Guardia di Finanza rescued a 15-metre boat with 107 Syrians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis and Egyptians on board, which had set sail from Zawia, Libya.

Shortly afterwards, the CP327 patrol boat of the Harbor Office rescued and transhipped 43 Sudanese, Eritreans and Ethiopians who were traveling on a 7-metre small boat which had left Chebba, Tunisia, and had been left adrift. The migrants reported having paid 2,000 Tunisian dinars each for the journey.

Yesterday, in Lampedusa, there were 4 landings, for a total of 194 migrants and the body of a 28-year-old Eritrean. In the evening, 350 migrants were transferred from the first reception facility in the Imbriacola district, arriving at dawn in Porto Empedocle. No transfers have been arranged for today.
