The weather divides Italy in two. If in the South there was sunny weather with some clouds and peaks of 30 degrees in Sicily, in the North rain and strong wind characterized the evening of Easter Eve in Milan, while a whirlwind hit the Varese area.

Dozens of interventions were carried out in Milan: several unsafe trees, billboards and shop signs fell. Luckily they were not injured. Winds exceeded 70 km per hour.

The area in the Varese area between Busto Arsizio, Samarate and Lonate Pozzolo was affected at around 9.30pm by a brief tornado which knocked down dozens of trees but fortunately caused no consequences for people.

In Sardinia temperatures above 20 degrees today, on Easter Monday a light rain could ruin the plans of those planning trips out of town.
