Investigation into Hamas funding: Hannoun remains in prison

Mohammad Hannoun, the Palestinian architect and activist accused of financing Hamas through his charities and of being the leader of the organization's Italian cell, remains in prison. The Genoa Court of Appeal ruled this.

The Review Court judges instead annulled three of the seven precautionary measures executed on December 27th, out of the nine ordered by preliminary investigations judge Silvia Carpanini. The reasons for the decision will be filed within 30 days.
