"The only form of repentance that makes sense is to take my own life."

These are the words that Alessandro Impagnatiello repeated to his lawyer after having confessed to the murder of Giulia Tramontano. Words that today the lawyer, the lawyer Sebastiano Sartori, reported at the end of the interrogation to validate the detention in which the barman confessed to the murder "adding details concerning the last phase of the stabbing" .

Giulia Tramontano was killed in the living room, the barman "denied premeditation and said he did it all by himself" .

The investigations are in fact continuing at a rapid pace both to ascertain the man's movements following the murder, but also to verify if he had any accomplices. The investigators have many doubts as to whether the 30-year-old, now in a cell in San Vittore, got rid of Giulia's lifeless body on his own . For this they are recovering the videos of all the surveillance cameras of Senago, the municipality in the Milanese area where the couple lived and where the crime took place and the body was hidden, to then analyze the images.

Impagnatiello's interrogation lasted less than an hour, just enough time to confirm what he confessed, adding some details of the murder. The defender denied that his client was under the influence of drugs on Saturday evening when he killed Giulia .

The lawyer also explained that at the moment he has not requested any transfer of the 30-year-old to any psychiatric or health facility as Impagnetiello "may stay in prison" but that he intends to "investigate some aspects". And when asked if he is afraid of some rash gesture, he replied "I am serene, they are good and have found the right solution", referring to the conditions of detention.
