A 41-year-old worker was taken ill as he was finishing his night shift in a weaving mill in Oste, an industrial hamlet in the Municipality of Montemurlo.

It was just after five when the man, of Pakistani origin, felt ill and collapsed. A colleague saw him and raised the alarm.

118 arrived on the spot but the doctor, who intervened with the carabinieri and police, could only ascertain the death, which occurred from natural causes: perhaps a cardiac arrest.

The deputy prosecutor on duty ordered an autopsy.
