She stabs her husband to death and takes her own life: her 24-year-old son finds the bodies

The bodies of two Italian spouses, aged 54 and 47 , were found in an apartment in Via Piave, in Corbetta, in the Milan area .
They were in the bedroom, and it was their son, a 24-year-old boy, who made the disconcerting discovery.
According to initial findings, both bodies have stab wounds .
The Carabinieri of the Abbiategrasso Company intervened on site, notified by 118, and investigations by the Scientific Investigations Section of the Milan Carabinieri are also underway.
The hypothesis is that it was a murder suicide : according to what has been reconstructed, it was the woman, a housewife of Ligurian origins, who stabbed her husband several times, surprising him in his sleep . Then, with the same weapon (found by investigators near her body), the woman committed suicide.
According to initial information, the 47-year-old suffered from psychiatric problems and, according to the testimonies of some relatives, she had already attempted to take her own life in the past.
