Husband and wife found dead at home in the Reatino area

The lifeless bodies of two elderly people, husband and wife, were found in their home in the Reatino area, in the hamlet of Sant'Elia.

The forensic police, 118, the head of the Flying Squad and the magistrate on duty are on site. We try to understand what happened by listening to neighbors and relatives. The most probable lead is that of murder-suicide.

The woman - but the circumstance awaits official confirmation - was apparently hit several times with a hammer while her husband took his own life by shooting himself with a firearm.
