A rifle shot that accidentally hit a high-voltage power line left an area of Foiano della Chiana, in the province of Arezzo, in darkness.
The hunting accident occurred yesterday, the opening day of the hunting season in Tuscany. The aiming error did not cause any injuries but did cause significant damage to the high voltage line, causing inconvenience for hours to residents of the affected area.
The technicians' work lasted until the afternoon when, around 5 pm, the electricity returned.
