It was not an accident with a hit-and-run driver that cost the life of Fabio Ravasio, a 52-year-old with a passion for sports who was hit shortly before 8:00 p.m. in via Vela in Parabiago, in the Milan area, on August 9, but a real execution. The Carabinieri of Legnano arrested, at the request of the Busto Arsizio Prosecutor's Office, six people, including his partner, on charges of homicide in competition aggravated by premeditation after the car he was hit by was found, also thanks to confessions.

The black car that was traveling on the border between Parabiago and Casorezzo just as Ravasio, known in the town also for his passion for cycling and tennis, was arriving in the opposite direction with his mountain bike , moved onto his lane and hit him head-on . A very strong impact for which he fell violently to the ground.

He was taken to the hospital but died a few hours later. The car, some witnesses explained, also hit the guard rail, damaging the bodywork and the lights. From the images, the carabinieri found that the license plate of the car with which the man was hit had been counterfeit. They then checked the license plates associated with the black car and discovered that it was registered to a person who knew Ravasio.

From here the investigations into the man's network of acquaintances began and the public prosecutor, who coordinated the Carabinieri of the Legnano company, found "relevant elements" to demonstrate that the death of the fifty-two-year-old was not due to a road accident but to a collision made on purpose by the driver of the car . In short, that it was a real 'execution'.

Some people defined as "of investigative importance" were called to the Public Prosecutor's Office in Busto Arsizio and yesterday evening they confessed explaining the plan. A "wide confession" on how the plan, set up with a "patrimonial purpose", or to inherit, was first conceived, then organized and finally carried out. They precisely described their responsibilities and those of the others, indicating the role that each one had and also the "patrimonial purpose" and they indicated where to find the car that was hidden in the garage of one of them. The six arrested were taken to prison in Busto Arsizio where they are now at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
