He showed up at a pizzeria asking for a drink, with two large dogs on a leash and a python around his neck.

Moments of tension last night in a club in Casnate con Bernate (Como), where the man arrived in a state of alteration, most likely due to alcohol intake.

The waitress and the owner of the club denied him alcoholic drinks, inviting him to leave the club, whereupon the man - 48 years old, resident in the area - said he would return armed.

Which he did a few minutes later, when he entered the pizzeria again, threatening the waitress with a gun.

At that point, one of the customers managed to push the 48-year-old away and the police were called.

Fino Mornasco's soldiers then managed to identify the protagonist of the story and went directly to his house, where they found the weapon, a dog swatter without a red cap and very similar to the weapons supplied to the police forces.

The weapon was seized and the man - with various criminal records - was reported free for threats and illegal possession of weapons or objects capable of offending. The police finally ascertained that the python was detained properly.
