After arguing with his 27-year-old son , he pulled out a gun he was hiding in a cooler and opened fire. But he injured his 21-year-old daughter in the leg as she stood between the two men trying to stop her 51-year-old father. It happened in Piazza Ferrarese in Bari.

According to what was reconstructed by the investigators of the mobile team, with the coordination of the prosecutor's office, the story "originates from a difficult family context characterized by continuous ill-treatment and violence by the alleged perpetrator of the gesture" against "his family members".

Father and son had had a heated discussion: the 51-year-old had gone away to retrieve the pistol, a 9 caliber equipped with a silencer, and then returned to "settle the accounts definitively". Then he fired, however hitting the daughter who had intervened to defend her older brother.

The girl was operated on, the 51-year-old arrested.
