This was decided by the Cuneo court, which for that episode convicted a 37-year-old for driving while intoxicated but acquitted him of the second crime.
The man, of Salerno origins and residing in Switzerland, in November 2021 had been stopped by an Arma patrol in Savigliano, in the province of Cuneo, for a check.
Having refused the alcohol test, he had been taken to the barracks and here he had begun to address the carabinieri with phrases such as: "You don't know who my lawyer is and what he is capable of doing to you", "He is the best because he defends people for homicide and wins cases". And then the fateful: «I'll make you transfer to Sardinia».
The judge imposed a six-month arrest on him, a 1,500 euro fine and a year's driving ban, but acquitted him of the crime of "threatening a public official".
