He kills his wife and two children, then calls the police

Drama in Altavilla Milicia, in the province of Palermo.

A 54-year-old man killed his wife Antonella Salamone and their two children aged 5 and 16 (Emanuele and Kevin), while his 17-year-old eldest daughter managed to save herself and ask for help.

Giovanni Barreca, after the crime, called the police and showed up in Casteldaccia where he was arrested. The military of the operations department are reconstructing what happened.

The RIS also arrived on site.

The murders occurred around 3 am. The man would have woken up saying he had perceived demonic presences. The eldest daughter, the only survivor, got out of bed and saw the now lifeless bodies of her brothers.

Some of the details that emerged during the investigations were horrifying: one of the children was allegedly tortured and strangled with chains. The wife's body – which was initially thought to have been burned and buried in the garden – has not yet been found.

According to investigators, a couple of acquaintances were also involved in the affair.
