"I hope I took it well: I saw blood splashing everywhere."

A chilling statement. This was done during a phone call to one of his exes, Gianluca Molinaro , the 53-year-old man who shot his ex-partner Manuela Petrangeli, 50, to death on the street in Rome on July 4th.

The sentence is cited in the precautionary custody order issued by the Capitoline investigating judge in which the suspect is charged with the crimes of aggravated voluntary homicide and illegal carrying of weapons .

The investigators, coordinated by the deputy prosecutor Giuseppe Cascini, could also accuse him of premeditation . Elements that would have already emerged in the very first phase of the investigations.

Again in a message sent from his cell phone, Molinaro, shortly before the crime, wrote: «Today I hope to kill two birds with one stone» . And, after what he did in via Degli Orseolo, he comments: "I fired two blows."
