A 25-year-old of Sardinian origin was indicted on charges of having kidnapped his partner, who had intended to leave him, forcing her to undress completely naked and walk in the woods of Vestone, in the province of Brescia, to make her admit a betrayal, never actually committed, and - reports the local press - ask for forgiveness.

The facts date back to last March , in the Municipality of Pompiano, in the Lower Brescia area, when the woman - almost 40 years old - had expressed her intention to end the relationship with the young man, following the umpteenth scene of jealousy.

The 25-year-old, according to the reconstruction of the Prosecutor's Office, reacted in the worst way. There was a quarrel between the two and the 25-year-old forced the woman to get into a van, driving to a wooded area. Here he would have ordered her to undress, then have her walk naked among the vegetation, to make her admit to having had another relationship.

The disturbing scene was interrupted by a call from the young woman's mother, who managed to get the young man back to town, with an excuse. He would have told him that the carabinieri (who had in the meantime been notified of what was happening) had managed to track down the person responsible for an accident in which the 25-year-old had been involved days before.

On his arrival in the Lumezzane barracks, however, the military had stopped him on charges of kidnapping.

Since last June, the young man - who disputes the reconstruction made by his ex and who with his lawyers has chosen the trial rather than the shortened procedure - has been under house arrest. Now the indictment, with the first hearing to be held next December.
