The attentive municipal employee of a town in the Bergamo area did not miss some elements that made him doubt the true age of a future bride. The woman, together with her boyfriend, went to the town hall to prepare the marriage banns but, the local police officers later ascertained, she falsified her identity card by taking off 15 years.

In practice, she was about 30 years old on the document, in reality 45. When the employee pointed out that the database showed that the latter age was true, the woman explained that that was in fact her aunt, born on the same day, in the same place, but three decades before. This did not convince the employee who took time by notifying the authorities in the meantime.

The future bride, local media say, is therefore back after a few days with her boyfriend. She was asked for her documents again, in the presence of a plainclothes agent, and the woman said she had forgotten everything at home, including her tax code. He sent his partner to retrieve them and the cards were re-examined. New dispute, this time official, on the truthfulness. But at that point she got angry, even lowering her mask to ask those present: "How old do you think I am?". In conclusion, she was cornered and handed over a driver's license bearing the true date of birth.

A complaint for partial counterfeiting of documents, false declarations, attempted fraud against a public official is inevitable. The boyfriend does not know how he took it, the fact is that the publications have been canceled.
