He finds a gun in the house and a shot goes off: 3-year-old girl in serious condition

A 3-year-old girl was seriously injured when she was accidentally hit by a bullet from a gun she found at home and was handling.

It happened in an apartment in Gardone Valtrompia, in the province of Brescia.

The little girl was taken to the hospital and her condition is considered serious. The dynamics are still being examined by the carabinieri who arrived on the scene with the rescuers.

According to an initial reconstruction of the incident, the little girl was playing in the garden and found her father's legally held gun, from which the shot was fired.
