He falls on his motorbike and is run over by a large lorry: an 18-year-old of Sardinian origin dies in the Rimini area

Riding his motorcycle, he fell to the ground and slipped on the asphalt, finishing the race under a large truck, which killed him.

This is the first reconstruction of the accident that took place yesterday in Santa Giustina, in the Rimini area, of which Fabio Marceddu, an 18-year-old of Sardinian origin, was killed.

The young man, who was rescued, was transported in desperate conditions to intensive care at the Bufalini hospital in Cesena: the news of his death last night.

Marceddu, resident of San Mauro Pascoli, was traveling on a Zontes 125 towards Rimini-Santarcangelo on the Via Emilia when he found himself in front of a long queue of vehicles stopped at the traffic lights. He then overtook but hit the rearview mirror of a car. At that point the bike flew to the ground and the 18-year-old was catapulted to the other side of the road just as the articulated vehicle arrived. The driver's attempts to brake were useless.
