He armed his 12-year-old nephew , who fired a gunshot wounding his uncle's rival in love.

The Brescia court sentenced Antonio Di Sanzo , 28, to 13 and a half years in prison for the events that took place on April 2 a year ago in Montichiari.

The man is believed to be the instigator of the minor's action, he was convicted of attempted murder and the penalty imposed is greater than that requested by the prosecution, who had requested a sentence of ten years.

The boy was entrusted to a community and made use of the right not to answer, but some conversations with the girlfriend would confirm the hypothesis of the prosecution.

The victim, 32, said he had been friends with Di Sanzo for several years. That April 2, after being with him to negotiate the purchase of a car, he was called back by the 28-year-old who was waiting for him on a scooter, while his 12-year-old nephew was on a bicycle. At one point he heard a metallic click, turned to the boy and saw him reload his gun and shoot , hitting him in the shoulder. "Only for a few millimeters", the report reads, the shot did not cause death.

Also according to what was told by the injured person, Di Sanzo suspected that he was going out with his girlfriend, a circumstance denied by the 32-year-old.
