Hang glider crashes in Pisa, two dead

A hang glider crashed to the ground in the San Miniato area. Two dead.

The aircraft, for reasons to be ascertained, crashed around 11.30 am at Tuscany Flight. The bodies of the victims - two men aged 40 and 50 years old living in Valdera - were stuck in the cell and the firefighters intervened to extract them.

The pilot, we learn from investigative sources, was very expert. The cause of the accident may have been a sudden failure which left the aircraft ungovernable.

Accurate technical reports will be necessary, the police say, to have a more precise picture of what happened.
