THE DECREE - Introduced, in particular, the obligation to exhibit the green certification to access workplaces, both public and private. The provision is valid from 15 October last and until the end of 2021, and therefore coinciding with the end of the state of emergency.
The provision also aims to strengthen screening activities and provides for the extension from 30 November to 31 December for rapid Covid tests at low costs, also establishing the obligation, for pharmacies and private health facilities, to apply the controlled cost.
On the other hand, free rapid antigen tests are foreseen for subjects who cannot receive or complete the vaccination, with an amount of 115.85 million.
THE NEWS - Also granted, with a change introduced by the Senate, the possibility for the worker to deliver the personal green pass to the employer, in order to avoid checks for the entire period of validity of the certificate and streamline the procedures for accessing places of work. However, the Privacy Guarantor has expressed a negative opinion on this aspect of the law, and therefore possible corrective measures in future legislative measures are not excluded.
Furthermore, with another amendment voted at Palazzo Madama, the possibility of continuing the activities until the end of the day for the employee for whom the expiry of the green pass occurs during working hours.
