The Carabinieri of the provincial command of Rimini have executed two precautionary measures against two people investigated for gang rape of a 16-year-old girl, dating back to August.

They are a newly eighteen-year-old from the province of Pesaro and Urbino and a 17-year-old minor from the province of Rimini.

The precautionary custody orders were issued by the Court of Rimini and the Juvenile Court of Bologna.

According to the accusations, the two had met the minor on Instagram and agreed to pay for sexual services. However, after the meeting, the girl panicked and refused to go ahead. The two would then have made her take cannabinoids so much as to lower all her physical and psychological defenses, and then raped her even with threats. Then they had dumped her on the street, where the girl had called for help.

The two boys were identified thanks to DNA and surveillance camera footage.
