Found in the garage dying with her throat cut: it's a manhunt

There is a manhunt, not only in Alto Adige, to trace the person responsible for the attempted murder that took place during the night in Bolzano .

Waltraud Kranebitter Auer , a 61-year-old physiotherapist well known in the city, was found with her throat cut and a brain effusion in the garage of the condominium where she lives, in Via Cavour.

She was taken to hospital and was said to be serious but not life threatening .

The Carabinieri of the Bolzano Company are working to shed light on what happened.

The motive and perpetrator of the attempted murder are unknown, but it would have been a real ambush : according to initial information, the woman would have been lured into the garage by deactivating her electricity meter .

The door to the woman's apartment was found wide open; inside the grandchildren slept, unaware .
