Foggia, stabbed to death by her ex-partner: she was protected by the red code

A 46-year-old woman of Moroccan origins living in Foggia was stabbed to death overnight. She had reportedly filed a complaint against her ex-partner, a fellow Moroccan, and was protected by the "Code Rosso" (Red Code) law.

She lived alone in an apartment in the historic center, and was found a few meters from her home.

The alarm was raised by some residents who heard her screams as she tried to escape her attacker.
