His name was Mysni Pestaj, 40 years old, resident in Villeneuve, Switzerland, the driver of the Ferrari Gtc4 who died late on Easter morning following a road accident in Alice Castello (Vercelli), on the Ivrea-Santhià link road.

In the crash against the guardrail at 200 mph he and the woman next to him were killed, trapped in the car which caught fire. The man, married and father of two children aged 11 and 14, a DJ by profession, was identified by the Turin traffic police thanks to the testimony of his brother.

The woman has not yet been identified. Pestaj's wife, according to police findings, is in Kosovo. However, the Vercelli prosecutor's office ordered the identification of the charred bodies through DNA testing.
