Femicide in Umbria discovered by a phone call from Sardinia: the victim's partner arrested

Gianluca Romita, the 47-year-old accused of killing his partner Laura Papadia, 36, who was found dead in a house in Spoleto, has been arrested for voluntary homicide. The order issued by the Spoleto Prosecutor's Office was carried out at the end of a long interrogation.
From the initial findings of the scientific staff and the coroner, it seems that the cause of death is attributable to suffocation . Investigators reported that the man was cooperative and spoke of a crisis in a deteriorated relationship.
Romita is now locked up in the Spoleto prison. The alarm came with a phone call to 112 from Sardinia: "My ex killed his current partner" .
