Moments of terror in Fiumicino (Rome), where an attempted kidnapping of a child took place.

A man of around 50 entered the garden of a house and after picking up the nine-year-old boy, tried to carry him away to his car .

But the little one broke free and started screaming, at which point the man ran away .

Then the mother intervened immediately, who reached the child and called 112. The policemen of the Fiumicino police station are investigating the episode.

The little one has already been heard from the investigators. In addition, witnesses are being sought and images from surveillance cameras in the area will be examined. The investigations also aim to ascertain whether the man who attempted to kidnap the child is an acquaintance of the family .
