Mourning in Olbia for the tragic disappearance of non-commissioned officer Salvatore Pisanelli, 53 years old, soldier at the Olbia Captaincy.
The man, originally from Puglia, a passionate motorcyclist, lost his life yesterday afternoon on the Mugello tracks following a fall on a straight line while a free practice session reserved for private motorcyclists was in progress.
Despite immediate help , he immediately appeared in very serious condition and the resuscitation attempt in the medical center of the racetrack was useless: the doctors confirmed his death when the ambulance was ready for the driver's transfer to the Careggi hospital.
The soldier leaves behind a wife and three children.
An autopsy was ordered on the body of the unfortunate centaur; the hypothesis is that at the origin of the fatal crash on the straight there was an illness.
In the late morning, on the sidelines of the press conference to present the "Safe Sea 2023" campaign , the Maritime Director of Northern Sardinia, Giorgio Castronuovo, expressed condolences from the entire Olbia Harbor Office where the marshal served: «Unfortunately we had this very serious mourning that hit us in an unexpected way – he said – An esteemed colleague, who has been here for some time and will be missed. We are waiting to hope when we will be able to give him the last goodbye ».
