The police investigations into fake Green Passes sold at a price of 300 euros also affect Sardinia. The operation, consisting of a series of searches, was arranged with a maxi blitz ordered by the Prosecutor of Termini Imerese (Palermo) against an alleged criminal organization specialized in online trading - through various channels on the Telegram platform - of false anti -Covid able to pass normal verification checks.

25 suspects, while the buyers were discovered in 15 provinces: Olbia, Rome, Cremona, Aosta, Cosenza, Lucca, Caltanissetta, Agrigento, Palermo, Bologna, Bari, Venice, Treviso, Mantua and Salerno.

During the 20 searches at national level, in addition to paper Green Passes, about thirty IT devices were seized in which the certificates were stored in digital format. The sellers guaranteed to the buyers the issue of a personalized "strengthened third dose" certificate, asking for a copy of the health card, against the payment of about 300 euros usually in cryptocurrency, also providing "family discounts" for those who bought more certificates.
