" They asked me to take off my underwear and do three squats , for checks, according to them. This treatment was reserved only for feminized people . Males were not asked to undress and take off their clothes." These are the words of one of the Extinction Rebellion protesters who yesterday morning took part in the protest in front of the Leonardo factory in Brescia . The protester recounted the incident in a video published on the environmentalist group's social media .

After the protest, about 25 people were taken to the police station . According to Extinction Rebellion, which participated in the action together with Ultima Generazione and Palestina Libera, people were "reported for frivolous crimes" and some were "expelled from Brescia with mandatory expulsion orders".

The demonstration, which took place outside the company gates, was attended by about forty activists from Ultima Generazione, Extinction Rebellion and Free Palestine, who blocked the entrance with the slogan "Leonardo destroys peoples and lands", written on several banners. The demand of the demonstrators, who made writings in red paint, is to end military supplies to Israel, convert production and ask for "an end to Italian support for the ongoing genocide in Palestine".
