From today to January 30 it will be possible to enroll for the 2023/2024 school year. Also this year the procedures will take place online for all the first classes of primary and secondary state schools of first and second grade.

Online enrollments also concern vocational education and training courses provided under the subsidiarity regime by vocational institutes and vocational training centers accredited by the Regions and private schools which, on a voluntary basis, have adhered to the online procedure. The application remains on paper for kindergarten.

Parents or those who exercise parental responsibility will be able to find detailed information on each institution and locate the school of interest through Scuola in Chiaro, the application made available by the Ministry: a dynamic QR Code associated with each school will provide all the information on the structures , the training offer, the equipment and will compare some data with those of other scholastic institutions in the area. The reference site for Scuola in Chiaro is cercalatuascuola.educazione.it.

Registration applications can be submitted until 8 pm on 30 January 2023 through the "Online registration" service , available on the portal of the Ministry of Education and Merit at www.istruzione.it/iscrizionionline/ . The system can be accessed using the SPID (Public Digital Identity System), CIE (Electronic Identity Card) or eIDAS (electronic IDentification Authentication and Signature) credentials. Useful information for applying, video tutorials and downloadable guides are available on the registration website.

Among the tools made available by the Ministry, there is also a virtual assistant. Only one enrollment application can be submitted for each student, but up to two other preferences can be indicated in the event that the chosen school has an excess of requests with respect to the places available. The "Online registration" system will notify families in real time, by e-mail and via the IO APP, of the successful activation of the service and will allow them to follow the registration application process. In addition to the dedicated website, the ministry has also activated a special communication campaign on social media and through an institutional spot, which will guide families in the various phases of the procedure and which will indicate all the tools available both in the selection phase and in that of the actual question.
