Dog destroys the cage in the hold and runs away terrified, the plane remains on the ground

Incredible episode at Fiumicino airport in Rome, on a Neos flight destined for Cancun in Mexico with transit through Havana.

After a delay due to lack of staff in loading the suitcases, another inconvenience. A large dog, a Swiss Shepherd, in the cargo hold of the plane broke its cage and began to thrash about in fear.

The on-board and ground personnel noticed everything and the captain naturally interrupted the take-off procedures, notifying the passengers and also the police. The animal was calmed down and put back in the cage. Meanwhile repaired.

But after a few minutes the big dog broke it again. At this point the quadruped, together with its owner, were taken off the plane. There was now no other solution. The plane finally took off at 4.30pm. Accumulating 3 hours late.
