Covid: the Rt index goes from 1.07 to 1.30, the incidence of cases from 504 to 763
The weekly analysis by the ISS-Ministry of HealthThe coronavirus transmissibility index and the incidence of cases are increasing. This is highlighted by the weekly monitoring of the ISS-Ministry of Health for the period between 7 and 20 June.
The mean Rt calculated on symptomatic cases was 1.30 (range 1.06-1.56), up from 1.07 in the previous week and above the epidemic threshold. Jump in the weekly incidence at the national level: 763 per 100,000 inhabitants for the period 24-30 June against the previous figure of 504 per 100 thousand (17-23 June).
A plus sign also with regard to hospitalizations for Covid-19 both in intensive care and in ordinary wards. The employment rate in intensive care rises to 2.6% (Ministry of Health daily survey as of June 30) compared to 2.2% (Ministry of Health daily survey as of June 23). The employment rate in medical areas at the national level rises to 10.3% (daily survey by the Ministry of Health as at 30 June) compared to 7.9% (daily survey by the Ministry of Health as at 23 June).
