Covid, infections in decline, but in the province of Oristano the highest incidence in Italy

Covid -19 infections in general decline throughout Italy , but in the province of Oristano there is currently the highest incidence in Italy .
This is what emerges from the usual Gimbe monitoring , relating to the week 25-31 May 2022.
As mentioned, compared to the previous seven days, there is a further decrease in new cases (131,977 against 172,883) and deaths (547 against 656). And hospitalizations with symptoms decrease (5,121 against 6,240) and intensive care (248 against 286).
Still looking at the data, the decline in new cases is confirmed in all Regions : from -7.6% in Lazio to -41.4% in Molise.
In 105 Provinces there is a percentage drop in new cases (from -2.5% in Rome to -47.3% in Isernia) and an increase in only 2 (Catania + 9.9% and Viterbo + 13.5%) .
In no province does the incidence exceed 500 cases per 100,000 inhabitants , reaching between 102 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in Bergamo and 430 in Oristano , where, in fact, the incidence is higher.
"The new weekly cases - explains Nino Cartabellotta, President of the Gimbe Foundation - continue to drop (-23.7% compared to the previous week) reaching around 132 thousand with a 7-day moving average of just under 19 thousand cases per day".
