Alfredo Cospito was transferred this afternoon, on the advice of the doctors, from the Milan Opera prison to the San Paolo hospital.
From what has been learned from DAP and judicial sources, the anarchist under 41 bis is in one of the rooms reserved for prisoners under the 41 bis regime . The Prison Administration Department ordered his transfer as a precaution .
THE DOCTOR – Just today his doctor examined him and announced that he weighs 71 kilos and is at risk of cerebral edema and potentially fatal cardiac arrhythmias.
The anarchist, according to what the doctor adds, «is determined to go ahead with the protest. He is lucid and walks on his own legs."
The consultant defined the conditions as "serious, the parameters hold but it doesn't take much for the situation to precipitate without particular warning signs", he underlined. «I have read the medical records, the situation from a physical point of view is of significant debilitation but he is present to himself, lucid and determined . Unfortunately, debilitation combined with determination is not a good sign.
CLASHES IN MILAN - Meanwhile, clashes between the police and anarchists in a march in Milan to demonstrate in support of Alfredo Cospito and against the 41 bis regime. Firecrackers, bottles and stones were thrown, with damaged windows, while the agents charged the demonstrators . At least 400 participants in the protest.
