Seven and a half years in prison. This is the sentence requested by the Rome Prosecutor's Office against Andrea Piazzola, Gina Lollobrigida's former assistant and factotum.

The accused is charged with the crime of circumvention of an incompetent person for having stolen assets from the actress's estate between 2013 and 2018.

During the indictment, the prosecutor highlighted the "state of fragility" in which the actress - who died last January - found herself and cited the work carried out by experts and consultants who agreed "on the weakening of her capacity to understand and self-determination and to decide autonomously with a partial mental deficiency". For the prosecution representative the actress was therefore "suggestable, kept in isolation, in a state of vulnerability".
