Two complaints from Codacons asking the Financial Police to carry out tax checks on Federico Lucia, aka Fedez.
The consumer association presented them to the Fiamme Gialle of Rome and Milan, complaining about "possible situations of interest created within the corporate group headed" by the well-known rapper and husband of Chiara Ferragni.
In the annexes to the consumer association's complaint, reference is also made to a consultancy report by Gian Gaetano Bellavia, an accountant and well-known expert in economic criminal law, which describes «a corporate plot in which all the tax risk indices".
We do not want, Codacons claims, «to state that the "Fedez group" evades taxes also because this association does not have the necessary means and powers to verify or affirm it».
However, "in probabilistic terms, the analysis of historical facts and experiences leads us to say that this type of action and behavior most of the time also leads to or is aimed at tax evasion". In the nine-page complaint the association also gives a "reconstruction" of the corporate group and "assets".
Furthermore, the association underlines that when asked by the judge in a defamation trial in Milan in 2020 about whether he was the owner of assets, the singer replied "No, I have everything registered in my companies' name".
According to the consumers' association, that response at the hearing «in a concise but effective manner, reveals a personality inclined to "exploit" to his own advantage the mechanisms through which personal wealth is hidden , a situation where evasion situations can very frequently arise. tax or actual tax evasion".
For his part, the singer replies: «During a trial I was asked a question by the judge about which movable and immovable properties are registered in my name. I answered the truth that I didn't register anything in my name and therefore I am technically penniless because everything is registered in the name of my family's companies, as is the case for many businessmen and women in this country . If I had said otherwise I would have lied in front of a judge and committed a crime."
