The Bologna mobile squad has carried out an ordinance for the application of personal precautionary measures against nine Italians, of Albanian and Moroccan origin, held responsible, for various reasons, for cocaine trafficking.

The investigation was conducted in 2021 with the coordination of the Public Prosecutor's Office and allowed the investigators to dismantle a drugstore tour in Bologna and other regions of northern and central Italy. During the searches, a man of Albanian nationality, residing in Florence, was found in possession of 26 kilos of cocaine and 22 of heroin.

The investigative investigations, in addition to having recorded sales of cocaine and heroin in thirteen Italian regions, also reconstructed the frequency of procurement of these narcotic substances and allowed the police to estimate the volume of business of the drug dealing which would have yielded over two million euros per month against the monthly trade of 50 kilos of cocaine and 20 kilos of heroin.
