There comes a new twist in the endless clash between the Italian rapper Fedez and the Codacons .

The Court of Rome rejected the complaint presented by the singer who accused the consumers' association of fraud . In the eye of the storm, an advertising banner published on the condacons.it website relating to a fundraiser for legal activities on the Covid theme.

Fedez's appeal was rejected as the judge recognized the full legitimacy of the initiative . "The advertising banner would have misled only an inattentive reader ", reads the filing order. Again in the court ruling: «On the site it was underlined with sufficient clarity that those funds served to support the action of the Association and, in the achievement of goals, of public interest, to protect all consumers... It must be considered that the contrary thesis of the defense of Federico Lucia (Fedez, ed), regarding the alleged suitability of what is advertised to defraud the public of possible donors, is conjectural and apodictic».

"It is an evident retaliation for the Antitrust fine raised by Codacons to Gofundme after the fundraising in favor of San Raffaele started by the Ferragnez on the platform, a 1.5 million euro fine for deceptive commissions applied to unsuspecting donors". the comment of the association which refers to the influencers' initiative, born during the pandemic, for the creation of new beds and the purchase of new materials for the intensive care unit of the Milanese hospital.

"Now Fedez will not only be sued for slander and will have to face a new criminal proceeding, but he risks being excluded from the next Sanremo Festival ", thunders the Codacons. And with regard to the storm thrown at the singer, after his laughter over the unsolved case of Emanuela Orlandi during his podcast "Muschio selvagio" , the association announces that it is on the verge of " presenting a request to Rai asking, also in the light of the latest serious events that have involved the rapper, not to allow his participation in any form in the singing festival".
