"It will take the army to stop me, I will make a massacre." This is what Christian Sodano, the 27-year-old financier responsible for the Cisterna di Latina massacre, wrote to his ex-girlfriend Desyrée Amato . Messages received in the last days before the tragedy, now published on the Corriere della Sera website, which the girl sent to a friend of hers. “You'll see how bad I can be,” writes the killer of Nicoletta Amato and her daughter Renèe, Desyrée's mother and sister.

The tone of communications was increasingly aggressive. «You are a fake - the 27-year-old writes, addressing the girl -, you must suffer as much as I suffered. I will hurt you so much if it's the last thing I do. I don't care anymore." The girl who escaped the massacre tries to "calm down" the boy who sends a photo of his hand with bloody knuckles from a punch thrown at a wall . «You have to stay calm - writes Desyrèe -. You always do this, but when do you grow up? The financier replies: «It's all your fault, now I can even take my own life. I am not God to judge a person, but since God has taken away those dearest to me (parents, ed.) I will also bring them to God. And I will bring many." Violent harassment to which the girl, who was tired of the relationship with the young man, replied in shock: "What have I done to you?". The answer is dramatic: «Bad. You can not imagine how much. Don't worry, I'll have some fun tomorrow. Do you like making me suffer? Perfect".

THE ARREST – After shooting at his girlfriend's sister and mother, while he was heading by car from Cisterna towards Latina Sodano was stopped by the police, who at that moment were unaware of what had happened shortly before. The young man had told the soldiers that he was a colleague from the Guardia di Finanza, and then left with the sole invitation to slow down. A detail highlighted by the judge for preliminary investigations Giuseppe Cario who yesterday morning, after the validation interrogation in prison, signed the precautionary custody order against the twenty-seven year old. As several local newspapers report, the order states that if Sodano had wanted, he could have handed himself in at that moment, while on the contrary he moved away from the crime scene at high speed, so much so that he was stopped by a police patrol who stopped him invited to moderate his pace. A circumstance which led the investigating judge to consider the danger of escape to be concrete and to consider precautionary custody in prison as the only measure adequate to his position.

THE TOrchlight procession – «Today is the moment of silence, of reflection, in which this community needs to gather and unite around those who are victims», said the mayor of Cisterna, Valentino Mantini, during the torchlight procession organized to remember Nicoletta Zomparelli and Renèe Amato: «We need to start from school and family to educate feelings. Common feeling does not want to see our community in the news just because of these facts. This is not a city of executioner, but of victim." «The shock is great, the pain no less. Let us gather together and reflect", added Bishop Mariano Crociata: "The many women killed must not lead us to conclude too superficially about the quality and character of this community. Our parishes are alive and that of San Valentino experiences great activity and participation of young people and families. We must not generalize: each drama is unique, even if it occurs in the same environment. We who are adults have the task of setting an example and guiding the new generations towards the meaning of life, which is one of commitment and responsibility." At least 5000 people took to the streets.
