Double homicide and suicide last night in Volvera , a town 25 kilometers from Turin.

The victims are Chiara Spatola, a 28-year-old worker, and Simone Sorrentino, a 23-year-old warehouse worker, stabbed to death by Andrea Longo, a 34-year-old truck driver with a criminal record .

The couple allegedly tried to escape, but the 34-year-old with a large knife in his hand caught up with them in the courtyard of the house , fatally stabbing them. The bodies were found in the same courtyard by rescuers. But every attempt to save the lives of the three was in vain.

The Carabinieri have acquired testimonies from neighbors and acquaintances; the tragedy occurred at the end of a violent argument over neighborhood issues, the reason for which has not yet been clarified .

Chiara and Simone were about to move to another house and another city, perhaps also because of the constant disagreements with the murderer , which we understand had been going on for some time.
