They used Telegram to share experiences about weapons and explosives . These are teenagers identified by the investigators of the Operations Center for Cybernetic Security in Milan and among the searches carried out there are also some in Sardinia.

The Internet users, all minors and residing in different geographical areas of the Italian territory, were united by a passion for weapons. “My parents are against guns so I make them myself or I get them from somewhere [...] I shot them with a real glock... [...] I'm telling you because I've been modifying them since I was 14 years [...]”, wrote one of the very young.

In the chats they said they went around with knives and sometimes with guns (blanks or airsoft), regardless of possible checks by the police: "I had a glock but then I went to school because I had seen it in an American film [...] I went with a multitool with a knife, risked a lot of going to the juvenile [...] I wore the snap one in my jacket”. They often published photos and videos showing edged, firearms and airsoft weapons, displayed posed or in actual use.

They then used Telegram to get information and advice on how to pack Molotov cocktails, explosives and detonators, publishing photos of the bombs made, writing: “Have you ever made a Molotov cocktail? I do [...] Tuesday I try to make napalm [...] Does anyone have a video tutorial for a detonator? [...] good afternoon, here is a small device for you. [...]”.

This morning searches were carried out in the cities of Sassari, Nuoro, Avellino, Lecce, Milan, Pisa and Treviso.

"At the moment, the investigations do not reveal whether they have only made statements or actually engaged in those behaviors - explain the Postal Police - but some searches have given positive results, given that knives, toy weapons, brass knuckles and other material were found in their homes". Now it will be the judicial authority for minors to evaluate whether and what measures to adopt.

Meanwhile it emerges that among the suspects there is a young man from Sassari who must answer for violation of the law on weapons. At the time of the minor events, and today an adult, in the chats he would have written that he used a knife. During today's inspection he told investigators that he was no longer in possession of the object, adding that he would have reported those words on Telegram only for bravado, given that he was bullied at the time.

The other search that also took place in Sardinia was that of the home of a boy from Milan on holiday in the Nuoro area.
