The proceedings in which the Minister of Tourism Daniela Santanchè and two other people are accused of fraud against INPS in a branch of the investigation into Visibilia remain in Milan. The Court of Cassation decided this late yesterday evening, as anticipated by Corriere della Sera and La Stampa.
The Supreme Court rejected the question of territorial jurisdiction in favor of Rome raised by the defense . The preliminary hearing will resume on March 26 before the Milanese GUP.
The disclosure of the news has been a source of controversy: "This is madness. We lawyers have not yet been told anything and we had been assured in every way, even by the Court of Cassation, that the news would not be passed on to the newspapers before. It is shameful", protests Nicolò Pelanda , Santanchè's lawyer. "Journalists rightly act as journalists - added Pelanda - but magistrates should have a little more respect for lawyers".
