In the car, with his two little daughters, he was about to embark in Livorno on the ferry to Sardinia. But he ran into a check by the Guardia di Finanza and 11 kilos of pure cocaine were found in his car which, if placed on the market, would have had a value of over 3 million euros.

The family consisted of a father - 40 years old, a foreigner -, a mother and two girls. The drugs had been hidden in the back seat and according to the Fiamme Gialle, the man essentially made himself a "shield" for his daughters, trying to evade the checks.

However, he hadn't counted on the nose of two anti-drug Labradors: Jambo and Brook.

The 40-year-old was arrested.
