A 13-month-old child is hospitalized in serious condition at the Maggiore hospital in Bologna after falling from the second floor - a height of about three meters - from his home in Soliera, in the Modena area.

The episode took place around 10 in the morning, it was a neighbor who noticed it. The little boy was with the babysitter, a 32-year-old uncensored who after being put under pressure by the carabinieri for several hours was stopped . The cleaning lady was also in the house.

After the interrogation, which was also attended by the prosecutor, the woman went out in the military car: she is under investigation for attempted murder , it was she who made the child fall out of the window . And he would have done it voluntarily, it would have been neither a lightness nor an accident according to the hypothesis of the investigators.

“My client is in a confused state, she doesn't realize what happened. It was impossible to provide a factual reconstruction of what happened, ”said the lawyer of the suspect, Francesca Neri.

The prognosis for the child is confidential, it is life threatening.
